Pre-Con Madness



There were tons of things to do before the WCG. First off, we had to find a Joshua since our previous one was committed to another TWEWY group. In hopes of finding someone from our school, we walked around like stupid idiots the campus and bumped into . He then agreed to become our Joshua!~ Second of all, we still didn't have a Beat; but luckily, we found and since he was a avid fan of the game, _{Just like us} we gladly draggedtook him with us. After that; we had dragonfruits' TWEWY-inspired keyblade designs made at Cargin's. _{our favourite place in the entire world}


As if that wasn't enough; we had the skateboard issue. We had decided upon basing it on two TWEWY pins. vectored the stencils; and did the cutting; I did most of the spray-painting _{with Emile's help of course} and delivered the !~ w00t!~ Team effort!

Before the con, we had to rush doing Joshua's shoes, Beat's chains and a couple of more revamp details for our costumes. It was the day before; and we still weren't done with everything. Dundundun...




During the Con


People arrived at the appointed time of 9 in the morning (*snicker* Rhyme had to be an hour early to wake me, 'course~) since we had a lot to get done. Beat's costume wasn't fully made yet, so after we put makeup on the boys_*giggle*,he and Rhyme had to go over to Cargin's to pick it up while Neku, Joshua and I headed on over to the salon to get Neku's hair done._{Since his wig isn't here yet. D:}


After all else, we headed off to MOA with some TWEWY songs in the background to get us in the mood. At start, there weren't a lot of people, but after a while a bunch of costrippers and cosplayers... and photographers started pouring in. We had lunch at Chowking and the guard even opened the restricted area just for us to eat!~ How cool is that?


Familiar people; I'd list them but I might forget someone and they might have my head. Quick shout-outs to the people that I know and got to know that day: you guys are awesome!~ *waves at you all* I especially loved the Sweeny Todd (Faust!~), Edward Scissorhands and V cosplayers-- they are made out of pure epic love!


Our pin-selling idea was kind-of a complete bust. If you guys are interested in buying a Complete Starter Set (6 pins + Player Pin + CAT Pin) from TWEWY; please do note me. It'll be much appreciated.


What was annoying about MOA were the security guards who kept asking us to go somewhere else. We couldn't even that much nice photos since negativity between Neku and I was in the air... _{Sorry guys...} But of course; we eventually fixed it and in time for dinner!~


Overall, we found it to be a rather bland convention since it was mainly game-centric compared to cosplay-centric conventions. But then again, since it was the first convention with the CAT crew; it was definitely worth all the dramu. :3



Post-Con Mania


The CAT crew went straight home right after the con since we were tired already. _{even if it was only six in the evening} We met up for iced tea the Monday after and talked about re-revamping our costumes for a photoshoot with our beloved photographers.

This is just a filler update since it's kinda been a while since most activity. Pictures are being put on hold since the ones that we have don't meet the size resolution for Photography > People > Cosplay. We'll be updating as soon as humanly possible.

The CAT Crew

there's a lesson in this somewhere; i just don't seem to get what it is.

the other night, while on the way to beach house for dinner with neku, joshua and rhyme; we spotted a tiny stray cat by the agno gate, just by the book return. our group usually chase and try to tame cats that we found around campus; she was no exception. only, compared to the other cats that we have tried countlessly to approach, she was different. this orange-furred, blue-eyed angel was different from any other street cat. she was ours.

i was on my knees then when she approached me. she meowed rather cutely and we were instantly hooked. the guard called rhyme's attention and told us to keep her, since nobody was going to take care of her anyway. after a minute or two of deliberation, we took off towards the beach with her clawing on anyone who held her wrong.

at the beach, we set her down to a table and petted her lots. she got used to us soon enough since we kept talking to her. first, we thought of naming her neku, but that was before we found out that she was a girl. i suggested renji; which neku counter-acted as being too boyish for her. after telling her how cute she was and asking her where she thinks her mommy is; i asked her "would you like your name to be mao?" which she responded to, rather cheerfully. that was the only name that she responded to, so it stuck.

we put her down to the floor so she could walk and explore on her own. the food had just arrived so neku and i went upstairs to wash our hands while auntie returned from buying milk for maomao. when we came back down, we saw that the smart little kitten was waiting patiently for us by the stairs. we, of course, were elated.

we tried feeding her scraps but she wouldn't eat-- she would come close to the food but not touch it. we tried force-feeding her with a spoonful of milk, which she responded to-- just a little bit.

after a while, we started playing with her. neku and i wanted a tiny bit of alone time to talk about how our day went... but everytime we'd steer just a tiny distance from where she was, she'd follow. at first, we thought that it was because she could see us directly, so we tested her and moved to the dark part of the place-- where she ran to us kawaii-ly. then, neku and i separated so that we could find out where she was going to go-- and the smart little kitten ran to me.

that night, neku took her home to his place since my place wasn't really adequate for her, and i haven't asked my mom about it yet. he told me that maomao was pretty much behaved during the long trip home, and that she was quiet most of the time. she would only meow when neku fell asleep and poke her head out of the paperbag when neku's hand moved away from petting her. that night, she slept under a basket, with food and drink so that she could eat whenever she got hungry.

the next morning, i had been informed that our little baby hadn't eaten. neku said she'd follow him around when she got the chance as well. neku left for school that day, telling his household help to take care of the poor little kitty since we were unable to. the group had been thinking about maomao the whole day; and we even came up with the name for our cosplay group; THE CAT CREW; just because of our little angel.

when neku came home, he called me to tell me that maomao still hadn't-- and refused to eat. she had been shivering and her meows sounded like moans. i asked neku to constantly tell her that every one loves her, especially mommy and daddy; and that things would be better if she just ate. neku told me that he told her that constantly-- and that she was responding rather minimally compared to before. i had a test to study for, but i couldn't concentrate at all because my mind was with her.

i told neku to force-feed her once again, with the medicine dropper and milk, which she responded to now by opening her mouth and receiving the liquid. she was wrapped in blankets since her daddy neku was worried about her shivering because of the cold coming from the rain outside.



at a few minutes before midnight, the CAT crew lost a valuable member. i knew something had been wrong since neku wasn't replying to my texts nor answering my calls. he immediately called my landline to tell me that... maomao was gone.

even if she had been with us for only a couple of days, maomao will always be the core member of the CAT crew and will always be remembered. neku says he'd burry her in their front yard because i kept refusing to see her; the mere thought of what could have been brings tears to my eyes everytime.


she's not just a cat; she's a CAT.

First off, I'd like to thank for making me yet another new icon!~ I swear, what I'd give for someone like her; she's wonderful!~


There was a lotta dramu the night before ToyCon Day1. I originally hadn't planned on going since it was my birthday celebration that day. Anyway, I also had a scheduled make-up class aaand a group meeting so I was pretty down on the count. Also, there were a lot of people who were trying to rip hearts apart that
day. _{Which they weren't successful in doing. :evil:}


Anyway, told me to get over it-- which I ended up doing. The birthday celebration was great. Mum got me the perfume that I've been asking for about a year now, and I got a lotta prezzies from people too!~ Daddy even got me lilies which made me extremely genki!~ After people left, _{with my beloved godson, Xander who wanted to eat my strawberry pin} I quickly got dressed to go see people from Day 1.


My twin, Ria who was dressed as Quistis Trepe from FF8 was there though I didn't get to see her in costume. I also saw though he didn't want to give me his Al hattie!


Anyway, I did get to catch the lovely Tuxedo Team!~ , , , and did an extremely great job with their Naruto cosplays!~ 's Asuka Langley was inspiring!~ Seeing her in the yellow sundress made me want to go do my nERV plugsuit soon!~


I actually miss and since they weren't there during Day2. But I was really glad to see them!~ When we were about to leave, we spotted Kuya Kiko and Kuya Allan and they made us pose for some CLS shots which turned out really epic!~ Kuya Kiko also distributed prints of our Mangaholix pictures which, as always, are zetta awesome!


Anyway, we had to rush home because promised my mum I'd be back soon. The night was extremely cool!~ wormed himself outta a ticket along EDSA-- without giving out money!~ How hella epic is that?~ After which, we passed by KFC near KingsWood because we were uberhungry already.


The next day, after going to mass with mum and my sister, I headed to HBC to get some orange-colored spray for since the spray we had bought a two days before _{during our lovely Glorietta/TimeZone/Starbucks date} was blonde and his wig hasn't been shipped yet. So after that, we headed home and fixed our costumes as quickly as we could. _{Sorry I turned into a tyrant somehow. D: I was stressed. D:}


After painting the timer on 's hand, we were off. He had brought me Strawberry Pepsi Deluxe and a box of Strawberry Pocky so I was in the mood again!~



When we reached Megamall, it was awesome. Kuya Kiko immediately tried out the CLS with us, and the results are great!~ *points at gallery* Anyway, my friend, Lourenz gave me the puzzle piece necklace that he made to complete my whole Shiki outfit _{which was just a tad bit uncomfy since it was revealing fats. D:} as a birthday prezzie. I loved it to bits!~ I was really happy that Oliver came, too. He gave me a Strawberry-filled Krispy Kreme doughnut as a birthday prezzie!~ Mr. Mew lurves you!~

I was surprised that people knew where we came from!~ The convention was hellapacked so we stayed outside most of the time. People took lotsa pictures, too!~ *squeals* It made us really happy.


When we were outside, we just chilled with JJ's DS _{since I had forgotten mine.} and played TWEWY. There were a bunch of people who asked us to mingle but JJ wasn't there yet so we had no DS to mingle with. D: When he did, however, we had our pictures taken on teh weird photo booths and will be uploading teh LULZ photos later. >w<


The best part of the con, however, was meeting new people and giving out the Player and CAT pins that we had made just to give out to people whom we loved and knew the game!~ The smiles on their faces are simply priceless!~ They were so cute that I wanted to glomp all of them when they smiled and went all genki!~


Anyway, we were hella-tired because of the photoshoot we had with Kuya Kiko, a new-found photographer friend _{that wanted to shoot us in Subic for TWEWY. I never got your name, Kuya. D:} and a bunch of other DPP people so we headed off semi-running to the other end of the mall to eat at TokyoTokyo. The TWEWY team capped off the night with the lovely TWEWY soundtrack while on the way home.

Just so you guys know, JJ isn't our official Yoshiya Kiryu (Joshua) since he belongs to, I believe, another TWEWY group. We've been trying to recruit a Joshua and a Beat for a group and have been failing.


If you guys are La Sallians, we're going to be repeating what we did at school during break a while ago-- walk around campus with a lovely "WANTED: COSPLAYERS" sign. :3 Don't hesitate to approach us weirdos. :3
